Get Dirty.

Get Dirty.

Engagement Photos in Fog City. The Golden City. The City by the Bay.

Sand. White Dress. Wet.

And the best GD salads at Burma Superstar after we wrap.

Revealing. Flowing. Giddy.

This bride finds serenity on Northern California beaches.

And doesn’t she look freaking amazing glowing and floating across this one?

I’ll ask you to get playful and dirty on camera.

If we’re on a beach, out in the woods, near water — outside at all — chances are I’m going to ask you to get your hands and knees scuffed up and dirty once or twice. More often than not, when I ask a couple to be playful with one another it leads to wrestling on the ground, and contrary to belief — these moments don’t seem staged.

By simply asking a couple in love to have fun with one another — tickle, grab ass, lick, bite — it inspires play and I (the photographer) become forgotten in their minds. It’s no longer about what I want as a photographer, and all worries and cares escape them. I am now an observer who’s made themself invisible through distraction. These moments are actually fun and intentionally meant to be so.

When in San Francisco, you can’t ignore the Golden Gate Bridge.

After Baker Beach, we had to shoot on Golden Gate. Fog and double-deckers made for the perfect culmination of this engagement photo shoot.

If you envision a balance of photos taken near a beach, the water, and in the city —I’m your girl.

Let’s talk nature meets urban engagements.
